there’s so much help out there…..

if only you know where to look…. you could easily spend your whole life with ideas whizzing around your head but have no knowledge of how to apply them. luckily in Aotearoa, the government understands that for our economy to grow, we need to own successful businesses, and to own these, we need to start cultivating them.

a good place to start would be The Business Center in Wellington - they are there to help you build the skills you need to make your business a success, they have a wide range of training opportunities and free services to help you grow. great stuff.

a week since our first meeting with The Business Center my business partner and I have been enrolled in a BizFuel course, giving us the opportunity to network with like minded individuals and hear some awesome speakers share their wisdom on building successful businesses. Biz Fuel is the ‘launch pad’ for businesses with high growth potential. Over a series of five to six weeks, Biz Fuel will work with us to develop a strategic action plan to take our businesses into the future. this has come at a time when we need a helping hand to get things off the ground, and certainly looks as though it will achieve this.

already we have meetings with an Export Specialist to discuss the export potential and distribution for our [product] and a PR consultant to make sure we are on the right track to launch Si Partners into the NZ market. I have a feeling that with both of these businesses we are only going to get the one chance do hit the market and I really want to do it right!
