while sitting in a seminar last night, in a room full of ‘entrepreneurs’ listening to Richard Abbot from Movac kindly giving his time to talk about Angel Investment, I had the analogy that many must’ve had before my time. I felt as though i was in the equivalent of a church where business is the religion. I had a brief glimpse of how my actions could be perceived, and how the someone looking in on the room could easily see a bunch of freaks (in the nicest possible way) or fanatics listen to a preacher on the hows and whys of growing a business.

The reality is that we all need money to survive and as a result we work, we build businesses, we buy lottery tickets and buy property…the list goes on. Whether we like it or not money is the necessity in our existence.

It was mentioned that there are a lot easier ways to make money than build businesses, an example being property investment – but for me I don’t think this is the case. I wouldn’t find it natural to buy and sell property for a living but find it totally natural to want to help businesses work smarter through wireless technologies and to bring a product to market the will improve the diets and lifestyles of consumers.
