Facebook on my BlackBerry……

Watch out!

The obsession is about to spread from the fingers to the thumbs….. Have you loaded up the new Facebook app on your BlackBerry yet?

Being a ‘thirty something’, I am in the fastest growing age group adopting Facebook as their preferred method of online communication.

Facebook has captured the very essence of the web community, making it very hot property right now.

The main screen of the BlackBerry Facebook application is simple and uncrowded.

From scrolling through the option icons along the top of the screen, I can send a message; wall to wall; poke someone; Invite a friend ;View Friend list;Upload a photo; view my friends status and change my own.

All correspondence is pushed to the Facebook Inbox and a message indicator displays in the status bar on the Home Screen when a new update is received (I am using Smoothie Theme).

…all in all it’s a pretty good example of a simple and easy to use application with the mobile user in mind.

On my Berry using my Google browser I go to www.m.youtube.com

 

A warning screen advises of a possible increase your data usage from viewing youtube on your mobile and to increase the data mileage on your carrier plan.

Click on continue to load up youtube on your BlackBerry. Choice!
